◆ Veratus Consulting
You've got the idea.
We get it shipped.
Most software and game ideas die as half-finished prototypes. We design and build apps and games end-to-end — for macOS, iOS, and Android — and it starts with one clear step: a paid Blueprint that turns your idea into a real plan to build it.
01 The problem
Ideas are cheap. Shipping is where it dies.
If you've tried to build an app or a game, one of these probably sounds familiar.
The prototype stalled
You got something half-working, then hit the wall between a fun demo and a finished, shippable product — and it's been sitting there ever since.
The freelancer vanished
You paid someone hourly with no fixed scope. The estimate ballooned, the updates dried up, and you've nothing shippable to show for it.
No plan, no idea what it costs
You can't get a straight answer on scope, timeline, or price — so you can't commit, and the idea stays in your head.
02 How it works
Three steps. No mystery.
Book the Blueprint
Pay a fixed, non-refundable fee and tell us your idea, your budget range, and your timeline. One short form. That's all it takes to start.
Get your build plan
Within about a week you get a clear scope, milestones, timeline, and a fixed quote to build it. A real document you can act on — with us or anyone.
We build & ship
Approve the plan and we build your product end-to-end to the store. Your Blueprint fee comes off the build price. Design, engineering, polish, submission — handled.
03 The offer
Start small. Scale when you're sure.
Everyone starts with the Blueprint. It's the entry point — and it produces the quote for everything after it.
For scale: most Build & Ship projects land £6–12k, larger scopes more. Your Blueprint gives the exact fixed quote before you commit a penny.
A paid discovery sprint. You bring the idea; you leave with a plan to build it — and a fixed quote.

04 What each tier gives you
The plan that makes the rest possible.
We work through your idea properly: what the product actually is, the core that makes it work, how it gets built, and what it takes to ship. You walk away with a document you own — clear enough to build from, whether you continue with us or not.
The fee is non-refundable — it pays for real work, not a chat. But if you go ahead with a Prototype or Full Build, the full amount is credited straight off the price. It's the first deliverable, not a fee to talk.

05 The honest bit
Straight answer: it's the product that makes money — not a plan, not a pitch, and not us. But a product can't earn until it actually exists and ships; a half-finished prototype makes nothing. What we do is get you the finished, polished thing that's genuinely able to earn. Whether it then does comes down to the market, the timing, and how you take it there — a lot of which sits outside any builder's control.
Here's what we can promise: a finished, polished product that's actually built well and actually shipped — on time, to scope, to a fixed price. The market risk is yours. The execution risk is ours.
If you want someone to guarantee a hit, that's not us. If you want someone who will get the thing built and out the door to a professional standard, that's exactly what this is.
06 What's not included
So we're clear from day one.
Clarity protects both of us. These sit outside the build scope — happy to point you to the right people for any of them.
07 Proof
We don't just talk about shipping. We build.
Software live on the Mac and games live on the App Store, plus more in active development across Veratus Group — designed, built, and driven to release end-to-end.
A macOS app and three games shipped and live — plus a full RPG (Lost in the Woods) in active development. Every one built and driven end-to-end: design, engineering, art, audio, release. Yours could be next.
08 FAQ
Last questions before you start.
Why is the Blueprint a paid, non-refundable fee?+
Because the plan is the hard part, and it's a real deliverable — scope, tech, milestones, timeline, and a fixed quote you can build from with anyone. It also filters for people who are serious. The fee is non-refundable because it pays for real work — but if you go ahead, the full amount is credited to your build, so it costs you nothing extra. See the Refund Policy for the detail.
Who owns the product and the code?+
You do. On full build, the finished product, its assets, and its IP are yours. You're hiring us to build your app or game — not licensing ours.
How long does a build take?+
It depends entirely on scope — which is exactly what the Blueprint pins down. You'll have a real timeline with milestones before you commit a penny to the build.
What platforms and tech do you build on?+
Native apps and games for macOS, iOS, and Android, built to ship to the App Store, Google Play, and the Mac App Store. The Blueprint sets the exact tech approach for your specific project.
What if I don't like the Blueprint?+
You still own it — take the plan and build it however you like, with us or someone else. There's no obligation to continue. The Blueprint stands on its own.
Do you take equity or revenue share?+
The default is simple paid work: you pay, you own it, done. If a revenue or partnership model makes sense for a specific project, we can talk — but it's never a requirement.
Is the Blueprint fee refundable?+
The Blueprint fee is non-refundable — it pays for real work delivered, not a conversation — but the full amount is credited to your build if you go ahead. Consumer cancellation rights may apply; the full detail is in the Refund Policy.
Will you sign an NDA? Is my idea safe?+
Yes. Confidentiality runs both ways and is written into the Blueprint agreement — your idea, materials, and plans stay private. Happy to sign a standalone NDA before we even talk if you'd prefer.
What happens to my data?+
Only what you send is stored, only to respond and deliver your Blueprint, and it's never sold or shared for marketing. See the Privacy Policy for what's collected and your rights under UK GDPR.
I already have a spec or designs — do I still need a Blueprint?+
Maybe not a full one. If you bring a solid spec, the Blueprint becomes a shorter validation-and-quote step — we pressure-test it, fill the gaps that block a fixed price, and produce the build plan. Send what you have and we'll tell you honestly what's needed.
What about support after launch?+
A build includes fixing defects in the delivered scope. Ongoing updates, new features, or live-ops are a separate arrangement — scoped and quoted so you only pay for what you want. Terms are set out before you commit.
How do I pay, and is it secure?+
You'll get a secure payment link or invoice — card payments are handled by a regulated payment provider, so your card details never touch this site. The Blueprint fee is paid up front; a build is paid in milestones set out in your quote. Full terms are in the Terms of Service.
