Veratus Consulting / Privacy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026 · applies to veratusconsulting.com
1. Who we are
Veratus Consulting is a trading division of Veratus Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 17258282). We are the "data controller" for personal data collected through this website. Contact: build@veratusconsulting.com.
2. What we collect
- Enquiry details you submit through our intake form or by email — your name, email address, and information about your project (idea, budget range, timeline).
- Correspondence — the content of emails and messages you send us.
- Payment information — if you engage us, payments are handled by a third-party payment provider. We receive confirmation of payment but do not store your full card details.
- Technical logs — our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (e.g. IP address, browser type) for security and reliability.
This site does not currently use analytics or advertising cookies or tracking pixels. If that changes, this policy will be updated and consent obtained where required.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry and provide the service you ask for — performance of a contract or steps to enter one, and our legitimate interest in running the business.
- To take payment and keep records — contract and legal obligation.
- To keep the site secure — legitimate interest.
We only send marketing if you ask us to, and you can opt out at any time.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate — for example our email host, our form/enquiry provider (if enabled), and our payment provider — each under their own data-protection terms. We may also disclose data where required by law.
5. How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't proceed are kept only as long as needed to follow up, then deleted. Records of clients and payments are kept for as long as required for legal, tax, and accounting purposes.
6. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our use of your data, and request portability. To exercise any of these, email build@veratusconsulting.com. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as UK-approved transfer mechanisms).
8. Changes & contact
We may update this policy; the "last updated" date shows the current version. Questions? build@veratusconsulting.com.
